Join us on 11th & 12th April for our dock diving Seminar

Below is all the key information you’ll need for the day.

Location & Arrival - We will be meeting at The Montagu Arms, Barnwell, Northamptonshire, with an 8:00am start. The morning will begin with classroom style learning, giving everyone a solid foundation before we head to the pool.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. There will also be the option to purchase bacon rolls from the venue at your own expense.

Seminar Timings

8:00 – 9:30am: Classroom learning

10:00am – 1:00pm: First dock training session (beginner & advanced groups)

1:00 – 2:30pm: Lunch break

2:30 – 5:30pm: Second dock training session (beginner & advanced groups)

5:30 – 6:00pm: Questions & wrap up.

Training sessions will be split to cater for both beginners and more advanced teams, ensuring everyone gets the most from the day, whatever stage they’re at.

Lunch - Lunch is your own time, there is a lovely town called Oundle nearby, however we will be heading back to the Montagu Arms. If you’d like to join us for sandwiches, please let me know and I’ll send you a pre-order form in advance.

This seminar is designed to be educational, supportive and fun. Whether you’re brand new to dock diving or looking to refine technique and improve performance, the aim is for you to leave feeling inspired, more confident, and excited to apply what you’ve learned, plus having enjoyed a great social day with fellow dock diving enthusiasts.

As Head Trainer at Canine Superheroes in North Ridgeville, Ohio, Christine has helped countless handlers and dogs master all four DockDogs disciplines: Big Air, Extreme Vertical, Speed Retrieve, and Iron Dog.

Her journey began as a passionate competitor, and today she is recognized as a driving force behind the sport’s expansion. Christine has organized major competitions, mentored youth handlers, and introduced training programs that elevate performance and safety standards. Her leadership fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship, making DockDogs events welcoming and family-friendly.

Christine’s impact extends globally. In 2022, she traveled to Italy to help launch DockDogs Italia, sharing her expertise and inspiring international teams. She is also a frequent speaker at DockDogs galas and award ceremonies, where she champions innovation and celebrates community achievements.

Through seminars, clinics, and hands-on coaching, Christine empowers handlers to refine techniques and build confidence. Her vision for DockDogs centers on inclusivity, accessibility, and worldwide growth—ensuring the sport remains the premier destination for canine athletes and their humans.
