• Your dog MUST be fit and healthy. If your dog appears lame or unwell upon arrival, we reserve the right to cancel the session.

• Older dogs, dogs with medical conditions or recovering from injury or surgery must be seen by a vet who must confirm your pet is safe to attend your session prior to the appointment.

• We are not hydro therapists and therefore cannot offer advice of this nature.

• Dock diving is an athletic activity intended only for dogs that are in good physical health and free from medical conditions. As with any sport, there is a risk of injury involved. We do not accept any liability for injuries that may occur during use of the facility.

• All dogs must be brushed before entering the pool. If they are noticeably dirty they must also be washed before entering.

• Dogs claws must be kept trimmed to prevent injury and damage to the pool.

• You are required to toilet your dog prior to your session, there is an area for this where your dog MUST be kept on lead. You are responsible for clearing up after your dog.

• If your dog defecates in the pool there is a £100 fine, this is to cover lost income while the pool is cleaned.

• Please do not feed your dog for two hours before & after swimming. With larger breeds prone to GDV (Bloat) please leave 3 hours if possible.

• If your dog is aggressive to staff, you will be asked to leave and your session cut short.

• You are responsible for your dogs and their behaviour at all times.

• Please keep your dog on a lead until your session has started.

• We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your session will not be refunded.

• If you wish to bring children (under the age of 16) with you there must always be an adult responsible for them. Children may NOT enter the pool under any circumstances.

• Owners choose to enter the pool at their own risk.

• It is recommended to wear close fitting clothing that covers your arms and legs as this will help protect you from scratches should your dog swim to you. SPF and Sun protection is also recommended.

• Each 30 minute session includes the time taken to get ready before and after using the pool, therefore we recommend you arrive ready to get in if you wish to do so. This will ensure you get the most from each session.

• One minute of swimming is roughly equivalent to four minutes of running, offering a low-impact, full-body workout. Therefore, we will not force a dog to swim. We reserve the right to cut the session short if your dog appears tired and they must not swim for more than 20 consecutive minutes. You are more than welcome to stay until the end of your session if your dog is finished early.

• Inclement Weather - The pool is an outdoor facility, this means we trade come rain or shine. Sessions cannot be refunded due to the weather unless there is a weather event that makes it unsafe for us to open.

• You must not use force to get a dog to enter the water, if we feel you are causing stress or discomfort to your dog you will be asked to leave.

• CCTV is in operation for the protection of staff and clients alike.

• As we run back-to-back sessions, we are unable to offer extra time if you are late. Please leave enough time to attend your session.

• Please note: Use of Dock Diving UK facilities is entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any accidents, injuries, damages, loss, or death involving individuals or animals while on-site.

• Vehicles are left at your own risk, Dock Diving UK cannot be held responsible for any damage to vehicles.

• Dock Diving UK will not be held responsible for any illness or disease your dog may contract if they are not vaccinated. We recommend vaccinating your pets.

• Please let us know if your dog has behavioural issues prior to booking. We cannot accept dogs who have shown human aggression due to staff safety requirements in and around the pool.
