Top Tips for making the most of your session

We want everyone to make the most of their sessions, these few tips can help you better prepare.

Come Prepared!

  • If you plan to get in the pool with your dog, arrive in your swim gear! This saves time spent getting changed at the start of your session.

  • Bring your dogs favourite toy if it is one that can get wet.

  • Remember towels for both you and your dog.

  • Turn up 5 minutes early and toilet your dog in the designated area in the car park so you are both ready to go when it is your turn.

Check your expectations

Dock Diving requires confidence, this comes more naturally to some dogs than others. It may take a few sessions for your dog to feel brave enough to jump off the dock and that is okay. For dogs who aren’t huge fans of swimming, using the pool may be quite daunting. We will not rush your dog so please don’t feel disappointed if they aren’t immediately high fliers! We can still have a lot of fun just getting used to swimming.

Leave enough time

We are in a rural location, you will be sharing the roads with horses, tractors and other farm machinery especially during harvest. We ask you drive safely and give way to tractors with trailers. This may in turn add some time to your journey. We are best found using What 3 Words or through the dropped pin on our google business page.
